We worked in groups to create 4 parachutes of different sizes.
Parachute A was 15cm by 15cm
Parachute B was 30cm by 30cm
Parachute C was 45cm by 45cm
Parachute D was 60cm by 60cm

Bridge BuildingPublished 12/06/20
This week our focus has been on researching, designing and building model bridges to fit our design brief. They had to be able to span 30cm, have a clearance of 15cm and be able to support a minimum of 500g. All the materials available were priced up so the children had to also try and keep the cost as low as possible. We discovered some very interesting ways of solving the various problems that arose.
