Year 5 managed to get 1,000 dojos in a WEEK!!! they all worked so hard. Then had a whole class reward yesterday of ICT or forest time and some sweet treats! Well done Year 5.
This week our focus has been on researching, designing and building model bridges to fit our design brief. They had to be able to span 30cm, have a clearance of 15cm and be able to support a minimum of 500g. All the materials available were priced up so the children had to also try and keep the cost as low as possible. We discovered some very interesting ways of solving the various problems that arose.
